With over 35 years of middle/senior management experience (28 years in education) I am proud to have been able to make a positive impact on the lives of many young people and to have supported 100s of committed professionals along the way. I am a pragmatic strategic leader and very experienced in finance and operational leadership.

My experiences with United Learning Trust, Ormiston Academies Trust, E-Act Academies Trust, Cirrus Primary Academy Trust and Northern Ambition Academies Trust are testimony to my ambition to make a real difference whether through collaborative leadership, leading a sub region of academies as part of a large multi-academy trust, successfully addressing a Financial Notice to Improve or project managing a Trust to Trust transfer.

I successfully completed the CIPFA (Level 7) Strategic Finance and Operations Diploma in October 2024.

I am delighted to have been appointed as the Interim Chief Finance & Operations Officer for Nene Education Trust and am excited to be working with Matt Coleman (CEO) and the wider Nene Team.
