Lee is the Chief Operating Officer at Peterborough Diocese Education Trust, one of the largest MATs nationally.

Qualifying in practice he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of School Business Leaders and represents the academies sector on the ESFA's Working Group 1 that is responsible for publishing the Academy Trust Handbook. He also represents Northamptonshire academies on the School’s Forum.

As a Northamptonshire local he is delighted to serve as a Trustee at NET and help support the outcomes for nearly 3,000 children.
