Melanie’s professional role is as the Change Lead on a Digital Transformation Programme within the Utilities sector. She is a Change Management Practitioner with significant experience in Programme Management.  Her working life has predominately been spent in IT which has involved overseeing the delivery of systems development, managing teams and analysing/solving business issues. 

Melanie was the Vice Chair of Governors at Park Infants between 2011 & 2014 before moving into a governor role at St Peters C of E Academy where she became the Chair of Governors in 2017.  In 2017 she moved into a Trustee role.

Melanie has experience in risk management and serves on the Audit & Risk committee.  She also sits on the HR Committee, being experienced in people management and HR processes.

Having gained understanding and experience of schools within the Trust as a school governor has helped Melanie with the transition into the strategic role of a Trustee.
